What is an Air Seeder?
An air seeder is a type of machine agricultural producers use to help them make seeding quicker and more efficient. Air seeders are designed to eliminate the need to till the soil before seeding. Preventing over sowing and mount onto many tillage machines, allowing farmers to till and seed in one pass. Making them an ideal match for an AerVator creating a true One Pass RenoVator. Saving you time and fuel.
How does an Air Seeder work?
Air seeders function with the use of a combination of seed rollers and fans allowing for precise metering seeds that then flow into primary tubes and eventually hit scattering plates allowing for even dispersion of seeds across the width of the machine.
Benefits of an Air Seeder
Air seeders are commonly used for seeding small grains and grass seeds. They can handle bulk quantities of seed and are capable of planting large acreages efficiently. These machines are also easy to use, require low maintenance, and provide high performance while saving labour.
