The Bale Shear invention is a radical new method for feeding baled silage.
The “Bale Shear” works simply by “gripping” the net and plastic wrap whilst splitting a bale in half. The system is ideal for feeding directly along feed passages or into diet feeders. The “Bale Shear” can slice hay, straw, and silage bales with ease while retaining the net and/or plastic wrap.
The “Bale Shear” finally gives the user a complete system that delivers on safety, speed and reliability.
On top of that the user’s personal hygiene is vastly improved. No longer is there a need to cut plastic or net from a bale by hand. Stains and odours from baled silage are a thing of the past.
The unique system of automatic plastic grab and bale split using just one standard hydraulic coupling
makes it ideal for front loaders. Chopping the bale in half when loading

ALTEC M10R picks up and stacks the bale horizontally using twin swivel rollers, without wounding the film.
- a ram pinches and opens the rollers
- Rollers are removable and M10R can also operate with straight forks.
- Fits also to rear of tractor (hitch).

The ALTEC PC20 with it's powerful hands holds bales sideways or lengthways. They are slide mounted and can pick up any square bale 0.8 to 2.20 meters weighing up to 1000 Kg.

With their defaultless mechanism, they hold the bale perfectly . Two articulated hands, tightly welded to a solid frame, they are designed for easy grasping of the bale. ALTEC grippers are easy to operate. When grasping the bale, the frame directly presses the wrapped bale without any risk of damage to the film.

The ALTEC M11E is a 2 tine fork utilising 1100mm effective length by 35mm diameter hi tensile tines with a carry capacity of 1000 Kg and come standard with euro hitch for FEL.

The ALTEC M20D comes equiped with 4 1100mm effective length tines with 35mm diameter and height adjustable supports with 2 tines used to stabilise bales from the top. Capacity is 1800Kg

This Bale Handler is specifically designed for handling wrapped bales without damaging the plastic. The implement has two bale spikes covered by rotating steel tubes, which can be removed when handling unwrapped bales. These arms extend sideways by means of a double acting hydraulic ram to ensure gentle handling. Bales of up to 1.5 meters can be handled with this long-lasting handler.
